Here is a short list of some selected restaurants.
59er Diner. Great All-American food, 50’s motif. Try the milkshakes!
Squirrel Tree. Food is variable depending upon who is running the place at the moment, but great log-cabin atmosphere.
Clubhouse Restaurant. Restaurant for the Kahler Glen Golf Course. Great breakfasts. Salad Bar for dinner, modern, golf club atmosphere. Typically closed during winter season.
Mountain Springs Lodge. Haven’t tried it yet, but the food is supposedly fantastic. You need a reservation 24 hrs in advance and a group of 6 (although you can crash a party if there are already 6+).
South: Tex-Mex food. Our favorite spot for dinner in the area. Some very spicy stuff & excellent mixed drinks. Great outdoor dining in summer.
O’Grady’s Pantry: Located at the entrance to Sleeping Lady Resort, which is 2.5 miles down the Icicle Road from Leavenworth. Our favorite lunch spot, with great outdoor tables in summer.
Gustav’s: Great burgers, salads, local microbrews.
Visconti’s: Excellent Italian food, extensive wine list – great prices on high-end Eastern WA wine.
