Driving Directions

Two routes from Seattle: Hwy 2 via Stevens Pass and I-90/US97 via Snoqualmie and Blewett Passes. Generally, Hwy 2 via Stevens Pass is the shortest distance, but congestion through Monroe/Sultan during peak drive times can make Blewett an attractive alternative. Those coming from the eastside may find the I-90  route to be more convenient.

From the I-90:

1. Drive East to Cle Elum
2. Follow signs to Wenatchee/Leavenworth; take exit 85 to US97 via SR970
3. Continue 40 miles over Blewett Pass and Turn left at the intersection of Hwy2
4. Follow Hwy 2 past Leavenworth to Coles Corner and turn right.

From the Everett I-5 Hwy 2 interchange:

1. Drive East over Steven’s Pass to Coles Corner just past the 59er Diner, and turn left

From Coles Corner:

1. Head NW on Hwy  207, past  Lake Wenatchee Village at 4 miles
2. Stay left at “Y” in road approximately ¼ mile past the bridge
3. Look for brown, wooden “Whispering Pines” sign on right side of road about half a mile past milepost 7.  If you pass milepost 8 you have gone too far.
4. Make a right immediately past Whispering Pines sign (Fir Road)
5. Continue up hill. Eventually a hard right will put you on Lakeview Drive.
6. Continue to top of the hill.  Turn left onto dirt driveway by a row of mailboxes. In summer you will see a “Hilltop” sign on slope above the mailboxes.  If you hit end of plowed road (or dirt road in summer) you have gone about 75 yards too far.
7. Continue up driveway approximately 50 yards.  Make a right at fork, switch-backing right once and then left.  The cabin is sort of a beige color and a red roof, car garage on bottom with deck above.
